I like this video. I must say that we favour the word downtown over city centre. I have seen a some signs that say city centre but people call it downtown. Thank you.

Vancouver is a beautiful city, but what surprised me the most while there is that there are no public restrooms/toilets/washrooms at the waterfront station. they do have a coffee shop at said station, if you drink the coffee you must hold it until you get back to the hotel.

Walking around like that guy with a speaker and forcing your music on everyone is pathological, narcissistic behaviour. Wear earbuds like a civilized person.

Thorough video. Just a few corrections- in Canada we say First Nations not Native American and we have provinces, not states so it’s the province of British Columbia

Really doing us Vancouverites dirty when you showed our "beaches" at 18:05. We actually do have a ton of nice beaches. Other than that, very well done video

Best city in the world for 8 weeks of the year, the rest of the time you wanna off yourself. This place is depressing, expensive, and boring.

My wife and I watched your video before our trip to Vancouver and your tips were excellent. The city and all the suggested sites were great but we got a lot of awkward looks very rude. I am african american and didn't see many in Vancouver and my wife is caucasian american. Either they never seen many interracial couples or never seen black people before. Not too welcoming. Felt like we were under a microscope. Many working staff ad restaurants and tourist sites were pleasant so maybe the rudeness was from other tourist and not native Vancouver residents.

Great thing about Vancouver Aquarium (at least in my opinion) is that it doubles as a Marine Life Rehabilitation Center/Marine Life Sanctuary

Now, not everyone cares for what the Aquarium does, as it did spark controversy over allegedly keeping Dolphins and Cetaceans in Captivity (Even Jane Goodall didn't like that very much), however the Aquarium basically insists they don't capture marine animals from the wild, but that they use the facilities as a home for rescued animals or as a sanctuary for animals who can't go back to the wild.

Buy maple syrup at any grocery store! They'll have nice decorative bottles and it's wayyyyyy cheaper than at souvenir shops.
