We're obviously aware of and deeply concerned about the global pandemic, and are choosing carefully what to publish as forms of escapism and entertainment to help ease thoughts of anxiety, and provide an alternative from the news. We are obviously NOT encouraging anyone to travel now or discouraging social distancing.

Are you keen to visit this fascinating country?

Qué divino ser uruguayo y ver esto. Cómo pueblo chiquito y olvidado que somos, nos encanta cuando nos mencionan y nos tienen en cuenta.
Vengan, hermanos de todo el mundo que serán bienvenidos.

Has anyone got a recommendation for 2022, how has Covid been affecting visiting here. Will be looking to travel across Southern South America between March-May 2022.

I live in Colonia del Sacramento and I liked your video very much. However, I must say that I see absolutely NO point to that disturbing background music (noise?). What IS the purpose of that background noise, anyway???

I love travel, but at this time we shouldn't be traveling during COVID-19. Even with the vaccine we aren't out of this yet. Just saying.

Hey, for those uruguayans that complain that a lot of stuff in the video are not true or whatever, you have to consider also that we barely exist in the map, the fact that google has maps of the world and mark Uruguay as part of Argentina says a lot, there is obviously not enough you can know about our country if you dont do deep research on it and live here also to show images about it, the images they used, they probably found them online under the name of Uruguay, so ofc they are gonna think its from here, we need to actually put info about us out there that helps others instead of going at their throats for not knowing enough, yes some stuff in the video isnt very accurate, but they made it with a good intention and they did a good job in showing the vibe Uruguay is all about, we are just chill people in a pretty country and we are open for people who wanna learn about us. PS: yes we are very gay too

Although I agree Colonia del Sacramento is one of the best reasons to visit Uruguay, this video didn't make it justice at all, some images are from Carmelo and other nearby cities. It's still a nice TOP 10 tho.

Wait wait wait wait wait. Don't do that , it's Fútbol not football. Oh and btw DON'T go watch "EL CLÁSICO" ("Peñarol" vs "Nacional") that's when this country turns from Sweden to Mogadishu.

People need to do their research before posting. Uruguay has FOUR World Championships 24/28/30/50, (not to mention the 15 Copa Americas – way more than Brazil and one more than Argentina) all backed by FIFA and posted in their webpage. So as you can see, Uruguay IS a football superpower, much more so considering the size of the population. Cheers.
