For the first 18 years of my life I didn’t travel anywhere. Growing up my family didn’t have money to take us on vacations like the other kids in my class. I remember my teacher would always ask where we were going for summer, most kids would say Florida, Puerto Rico, Mexico etc. I’d just stay silent because I knew I’d be in my room all summer playing video games or getting into trouble with my friends on my street. Then when I graduated I was forced to work 2 jobs just to have a roof over my head and pay all my bills by myself while going to college. One day I just got tired of doing the same thing, work, school, come home, repeat. Just last year alone I’ve been to Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, Massachusetts, New York, Delaware and my hometown of New Jersey. Currently planning at least 3 trips this year to states I’ve never been to. Moral of the story, you have one life, that job will be there when you get back, they print more money to be made everyday. But time? That’s something you’ll never get back, enjoy it while you have it.
