I love love love seeing how the crews of ferries and trains wave to passengers and staff. Also how strangers will wave to one another on the voyage. I will try this in NYC and see what happens!

Seems like In Japan people are really into sleeping near strangers Like the first class curtains are see through So your just sleeping like 4 feet from someone else and they can see you And then with the pods and the really small rooms where you just have a bunk Ugh At least have a solid wall between me and strangers But I guess in Japan people are probably very nice and not rude and kind of do their own thing quietly

    座席の時は2人でも乗れるけどベッドにしたら1人用なんでしょうか?
    ホームにいる人は分かるけど、道を歩いてる人も手を振り返してくれるぐらい中見てるもんなんやな~って😂

2 seats –> 1 bed. The math does not seem to work out. Or do they only sell half the seats for the overnight portion?

Comparing the Asian sleeper train to the American ones….. So sad as an American lol… The Asian ones are so gorgeous and spacious and the food looks amazing. We need to take a lesson in redoing luxury accommodations in trains .

I like the video very much and planning to visit Japan in the near future. However, we are strictly vegetarians, is it possible that we can get vegetarian food?
    Thanks!

"Someone waved back!", was my favorite part.

Japanese people are apparently MUCH smarter than American people: In the US, you seen many morons wearing their masks UNDER the nose–which is USELESS. COVID, the flu and any number of other diseases are respiratory diseases, not chin diseases. I have never seen a Japanese person wear a mask under the nose.
