Positano is beautiful but I found the natives there RUDE compared to every other town on the Amalfi Coast where I visited several times over 2 weeks. I also found staying in Salerno and taking the bus along the coast made it much more attractive and the ride was like being on a Disney Wild-Mouse ride!

What’s with the deep interest in being cheap? It’s hard to find vlogs showing all the good stuff without being bothered about the price of lunch.

I love Positano, I grew up not far from there. The video is great and, yes, it's expensive but the main mistake that you made was to use a car instead of a motorbike! with a motorbike you enjoy much more. You also misse Ravello, that is a very pearl!

Positano is an instagram sensation for Americans. For us Europeans it has always been a sensation. Matter of fact, the mediterranean coast has always been a hotspot in the summer for Europeans.

I dont like Italy. It's a rip off no matter where you go. Ugly and over crowded beaches. Nothing to do. Take a photo and you have seen enough really. 22 euro to stay on a beach!!!!! extra for a towel!!!! 5 euros for ice lemon. This is exactly what my experience of Italy is like. They have no other way to make money. There is not a lot of places you pay for a cold shower either. I hate Italy. In fact, ask an Italian living out of Italy and they will say the same and I have Italian blood and relatives in Italy.

Should go to Maori. it’s the best little town on the coast. I lived in Italia for 8 years:) 4 of them in Sicilia..4 in Monteruschello/Quarto..about 20 min from Naples city area..Almalfi is beautiful but Maori became my go to once a month. Hotel San Francesco is amazing, it is a gem truly. Low key. Xx

The worst thing about the Amalfi Coast is not how many tourists there are but how many AMERICANS there are. The most inconsiderate, uncultured species of human

What to do in Italy? Avoid getting murdered, robbed or getting crotch crabs from the women there. Mafia people.

Living in Italy is like living with a beautiful girl who sleeps all day. Sounds amazing. Actually, a never ending nightmare.

I went there not to long ago here’s my take on the place, it’s very beautiful and you get great views of the city, they’re known for their limoncello, good food.
Is it worth it- yes but only for a day trip, at most maybe one night there.

If you’re a tourist complaining about a popular tourist spot being crowded you’re part of the problem

Not much changes in South of Italy in thousands of years except there are more travelers which is you. Enjoy it don't destroy it.

Complains about needing to plan, stays an hour drive away. Complains about tourists, as a tourist. Holidays aren't meant to be strictly scheduled events. You're meant to go and relax and not worry about spending money on food and drinks. Not all holidays need to be budget crunched to death. Just sit back and enjoy the sun – and don't park your car on the main road????

Amalfi has a rich history and has been a beautiful place for millenia. Why do these people keep connecting it with Instagram or whatever other social media they can use to cheapen the place and the experience.
