I once purchased a flight from Trenton, NJ (outside of Philadelphia) to Orlando on Frontier where the base fare was $1.. with taxes it was around $9. It was advertised as a $19 fare but I was able to avoid the $10 web convenience fee. by purchasing it at the airport. I got talking to the ticket agent and she even upgraded me to a more legroom seat. Said she had never booked such a cheap ticket before

I got a chuckle when Noel said, "Oh, cheers!" when someone scored a goal on the football pitch.

If you're not into drugs, or cartels, or in the wrong area at the wrong time, then there shouldn't be any problem in Juarez….. lol

The seats like like those on Jetstar in Australia. I once suffered such a seat on a near-4 hour flight across Australia, and my back ached so much I've never flown Jetstar since.

The ID check is because of illegal immigration with Juarez being next to El Paso.

Do they call Juarez dangerous because it's on the US border? Not joking, the drug trade and the gun trade are both fuelled by the US.

I think my cheapest and best value flight was EMA-ACE with Ryanair, £5 for the flight, £6 for the seat. So £11 to go to Lanzarote for a bit was more than worth it!

So, you went to Ciudad Juárez, wondering if its a dangerous city, also a city where you have never been, and then proceed to take an Uber, which isn’t allowed to pick you up at the airport instead of taking a proper registered Taxi Cab at the airport? Sorry mate, I think you’re stacking the odds against you, or you are just taking the piss at us.

Based on these other ultra cheap flights i see here this probably wasnt a bargain, but i was able to do fort lauderdale to chicago midway with southwest for $200, pretty good deal if i say so myself.
This was round trip with me and my dad.

So the lunch on the plane cost a pound more than the flight itself? Hmm….

Maybe Viva Aerobus reminds you a bit of the Ryanair service and the reason is that Ryanair was the first investor on Viva. They partnered with Mexican businessmen and then left and the capital is now 100% Mexican

Just the landing fees at my home airport on Canada are more than £30/passenger. The idea of a flight for £4 all in is unthinkable.

Maybe it was the most dangerous city some time ago. Right now the most dangerous city is Caracas (Venezuela). I visited Tijuana in January 20th, 2018 and it didn't feel that dangerous. Most of the violence is related to the drug trade. If you go to Tijuana or to Ciudad Juarez to deal drugs you will encounter that violence.

I love Juarez. I had a bad spell when the cartels were fighting, but it's safe again.

BeeBa Arrow Booze ! Have flown them many times between Puerto Escondido and MEX. New 320's and arguably the cleanest planes I've ever flown on. Better than Interjet though Interjet does show Bugs Bunny cartoons …

I've had the experience of having a row to myself only to have someone pop in randomly. I was on the aisle on the flight and this guy had tried to get a row to shelf after a couple tried to move into an empty exit row. The flight attendant came around just before departure to figure out why people were in the exit row when it showed it should be empty. After informing the couple if they wanted the seats they would have to pay they moved back to their row and the guy randomly chose my row (I saw where his original seat was and it was two rows behind me). It would have been fine if it wasn't for him getting up about 3 times in a short amount of times because of his legs. Eventually he told a flight attendant he would pay to get in the exit row and dropped the $90 for it.

I never been to Juarez, but I'm from Chicago, everyone says how dangerous my city is and why would anyone want to visit, but it's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. You're not going to get shot as soon as you step off the plane at O'Haire or midway. I'd guess the same is true for Juarez, may be some bad parts, but overall it's got the same dangers of any big city.
