Airport evacuated after Frontier Airlines passenger makes bomb risk

Palm Beach International Airport was partly evacuated on Tuesday after a Frontier Airlines passenger made a bomb risk whereas boarding the plane.

The incident occurred aboard a Frontier flight scheduled to journey from Palm Beach to Philadelphia within the US.

After making a remark about having a bomb in his baggage, the person was faraway from the flight.

Travellers within the airport’s Concourse C space have been subsequently evacuated to the terminal as a precautionary measure, whereas the passenger was detained and the airplane was looked for any suspicious packages.

Palm Beach Country Sheriff deputies have been despatched to the airport at round 5.04pm.

Trained bomb squad sniffer canines and Palm Beach Country Sheriff bomb detectives carried out the search, and FBI brokers who arrived on the scene arrested the passemger.

Two luggage have been additionally searched, and nothing was discovered within the baggage or plane.

In an announcement, Palm Beach Country Sheriff workplace spokesperson Teri Barbera mentioned: “Apparently, a passenger made an utterance that there was a bomb in his bag(s).”
